A blown laptop and a Ballantine Hangover!
My significant half passed away earlier this week and life has been miserable. Now dont start scratching your head, Im talking about my laptop! I have been living an unconnected life these days (except for the time I spend @ The OFFICE)...learning to read books, calling up people and attempting to get the old CD player working again!
Now off to some better things, I was invited by a friend, whom Ive known for about 20+ years, to join Round Table India's new table...now if you're not aware of this table thing - Google it. I'm not a very social person, even then my friend insisted that I attend a few events being organised by the group, get a feel of things, meet the guys and then make a decision on joining. So ultimately I decided to meet the group. The guys looked OK - so I was invited for the induction event last evening. Things went good, the atmosphere was friendly and obviously to make things easier there was alcohol! Had a little bit too much for my liking leaving my co passenger (who wasn't any better off than me) slightly worried about his wellbeing on our 'journey' back home - eventually got home safe! I was invited to another event today but due to some personal engagements had to give this one a pass. Now its decision time...to join or not to join...will be doing a swat tomorrow.
PS: the new car should be here anytime next week!
